Biography

Professional background

Evelyn Koduah is an international development and trade policy professional with experience spanning African development finance, regional integration and multilateral coordination.

She has worked as a Trade Policy Youth Consultant at the AfCFTA Secretariat under UNDP Ghana, where she supported the coordination of trade negotiations and institutional processes across Member States.

Her work at the Secretariat focused on market access and the operationalization of the African Continental Free Trade Area.

She has also worked with the African Development Bank, where she contributed to country risk analysis for Senior Management.

Evelyn Koduah gained experience in trade facilitation and policy analysis through roles with Ghana’s Ministry of Trade and Industry during her National Service and during her tenure as an Economics Research Analyst for a private sector trade advisory firm.

She holds an MSc in International Relations from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana, and a BSc in International Economics and Trade from Wenzhou University, China.

Her expertise sits at the intersection of development finance, trade policy and institutional capacity, with a particular focus on how African regional frameworks and multilateral institutions can be leveraged to scale impactful initiatives across the continent.
