Professional background

Jessica Hidalgo Ramos has worked as a civil servant at the Ministry of Culture in Spain since 2023. Before taking up this role, she was a consultant at Creative Europe Desk Spain.

She is currently part of the Spanish National Contact Point of the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV) programme, where she promotes, informs and advises on the funding opportunities offered by this European Commission programme.

Her academic background combines languages, culture and heritage management. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in German and English Translation and Interpreting, a Degree in Humanities and a Master’s Degree in Use and Management of Cultural Heritage.
